Coleraine remain the only side in the Danske Bank Premiership yet to taste defeat in 2021 and Friday night’s 2-0 victory against Crusaders means that it is an impressive 15 games unbeaten for Oran Kearney’s side, their last defeat was in early December and ironically was against basement side Dungannon.
Despite the impressive form The Bannsiders still trial leaders Linfield by five points but have played a game less than David Healy’s side, who made it three wins in a row at the weekend with a 7-0 win at home to Carrick Rangers.
Another side on an impressive run is Glentoran, after a slow start to the season Mick McDermott’s men have risen to 4th in the table and have played less games than the three sides above them. A Robbie McDaid brace secured three points against Warrenpoint on Saturday and helped them move above Crusaders and Cliftonville, albeit on goal difference.
Here are the full results from the weekend’s games: –
Coleraine 2-0 Crusaders
Ballymena United 2-1 Portadown
Cliftonville 2-1 Glenavon
Dungannon Swifts 0-2 Larne
Linfield 7-0 Carrick Rangers
