Danske Bank Premiership prediction league: Week 24

The post-split fixtures in the Danske Bank Premiership begin tonight with a doubleheader as there are big matches at both ends of the table.

Ballymena United host Linfield at the Ballymena Showgrounds in a match being shown live on BBC NI, a decision that was perhaps made thinking it would be a crucial match in the title chase but as it happens a win will all but secure the league for Linfield as they currently sit nine points clear of United.

The other match tonight sees the bottom two meet when Warren Feeney’s Ards side travel to the Newry Showgrounds to take on Newry. Currently, Ards hold the upper hand in the fight against automatic relegation but defeat tonight will send them back to the foot of the table.
