We’re back with more predictions for this weekend’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixtures; once again we have a reduced fixture list with only three games taking place tomorrow night.

The three fixtures taking place are as follows (all games kick off on Friday 12th June at 19:45 unless otherwise stated):

St. Patrick’s Athletic v Finn Harps

Sligo Rovers v Cork City

Bohemians v Shamrock Rovers (Friday 12th June at 20:00)

For the third week in a row second from bottom U.C.D. find themselves without a fixture but basement side Finn Harps have so far failed to take advantage of that, Ollie Horgan’s men have lost three in a row and their goal difference has taken a hit as they have also conceded 12 goals in the process. This has left the Donegal side still bottom of the table, level on points with U.C.D. but by tomorrow night they’ll have played three games more than their Dublin counterparts.

Shamrock Rovers dropped points at home to Derry City as they could only manage a 2-2 draw against the Candystripes, Dundalk’s win elsewhere meant the reigning champions moved five points clear at the top of the table but their out of action this week so Rovers will look to claw back some of that deficit when they make the short trip to Dalymont Park to take on Bohemians in a Dublin derby match.

If you haven’t already make sure you check out Keith O’Dwyer’s roundup on last week’s action, here’s how the table looks heading into tomorrow night:

Moving onto our own prediction league, last week’s big scorer was Bryan who managed seven points out of a possible nine. Bryan correctly predicted the correct results in the Sligo Rovers v St. Pat’s Athletic and Finn Harps v Dundalk games and also the correct outcome in the other game played last week between Shamrock Rovers and Derry. This was enough for Bryan to leapfrog Liam into 4th place and he sits just a point behind 3rd placed Rodney.

At the top of the leaderboard, Darren has managed to extend his lead slightly to two points with Cameron chasing behind him, both had disappointing week’s last time out as they only managed two points and a point respectively.

As always our writers will get three points for predicting the correct result and a point for the correct outcome, up first this week is Keith.
