Finn Harps aren’t in action this weekend in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, which gives U.C.D. a chance to move off the bottom spot and possibly even five points clear of their Donegal counterparts by the time Harps next take to the pitch in what is turning into an interesting battle to avoid relegation at the bottom of the table.
U.C.D. are in action twice this weekend as the travel to the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium tonight to face Declan Devine’s Derry City side and then on Monday night they welcome Bohemians to the UCD Bowl, two tough games for the side currently sitting bottom but any points picked up could go a long way towards securing survival.
Due to teams being in European action there’s just one other Premier Division game this weekend and that takes place tomorrow when Sligo Rovers play host to Waterford. Alan Reynolds Waterford side are going into this game off the back of three straight defeats and will look to arrest this streak before teams below them start closing the gap.
Here is the full fixture list for the weekend:-
Derry City v U.C.D. (tonight at 19:45)
Sligo Rovers v Waterford (tomorrow at 20:00)
U.C.D. v Bohemians (Monday at 19:45)
