We may only be three games in but it certainly has been an interesting start to the 2021 SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.
Finn Harps, who narrowly escaped the promotion/relegation play-offs last season, are currently unbeaten and sit top of the table.
Meanwhile champions Shamrock Rovers, who do have a game in hand, managed a win last time out against Dundalk having only drawn the first game of the season 1-1 against St. Pat’s. This was enough to move them into the top half of the table and Stephen Bradley’s team will have their eyes set on regaining top spot.
Dundalk and Bohemians completed last season’s top three but find themselves without a win so far this season and with just a point apiece they occupy 8th and 9th spots respectively with only pointless Derry having a worse start to the campaign but The Candystripes do have a game in hand.
