Linfield had a slight slip up at the weekend when they could only manage a point at Inver Park against Larne and Coleraine’s 2-1 victory against Warrenpoint reduced their lead at the top to ten points.
Basement side Dungannon’s woes continued when they suffered their 23rd defeat of the season at The Oval with Ruaidhrí Donnelly scoring a brace, including a magnificent long range header. The win keeps the Glens in the hunt for top two finish since 2008-09 and of course the European spot that comes with that.
